Why traveling is super important to me

    On my Instagram account I asked you guys what you wanted to see, and in turn I would answer any of your questions, or post what wanted to see. So this post will be dedicated to all things travel related. What made me want to travel, why do I want to continue traveling, what are my plans after my next big trip, etc. So lets get started. ↓

    First up, what lead me to discover my desire to travel and see the world? My family plays a huge rule in this. Every since elementary school, my parents have taken me and my sisters on a road trip. First it was Nauvoo, than the West coast, flying out to Boston (just parents and 1/4 sisters), next stop was Disneyland, Tennessee, and the most recent road trip taken was to the Mighty 5 National Parks in Utah. If it weren't for my family and their desire to spend time together and make memories that will last a life-time, I don't think I would be who and where I am today. I probably wouldn't of had the guts to fly to India, and than spend a semester in Ukraine if it weren't for my family and the memories that are gained from these wonderful experiences. 

    Ever since I came back from my last adventure to Southern Utah, I've had a stronger desire to travel and see the world, while maybe doing something similar to what I did with YMAD, (if you are lost, please referrer to post #2 Introduction Clarification). I really enjoyed my India trip and the memories that were made with both my Operation Parivar and the phenomenal kids that I taught English to while there. I'm at the point in life, where I can either graduate high school and move straight onto college and get a degree, or I can travel the world and experience the culture, environment, and make long-lasting memories. College will always be there, that isn't going anywhere and neither are the places you want to see and experience. Which is why I am leaning towards college AFTER I take trips and travel different places.

Which has lead me to the last and final thought, I plan to keep traveling after my semester in Ukraine. That trip is still a whiles away, but I have learned that if traveling is something that I really want to do, I will find a way and make it happen! It will take a bunch of planning and money saving, but if I really want to continue traveling, I will find a way to make it happen!

     Hi ya! I've been wanting to do a blog for a while now, but never found the time to make it work until now. Disneyland & California Adventure

    Like I said in the last post, week #9 will be all about Disneyland. This was a one week trip taken at the end of April in 2018. I have never been to Disneyland before this, but I still had a magical time! So, here we go!!     Little did I know that my sisters and I wouldn't be alone. My parents coordinated this trip with two aunts and uncles, so instead of there being seven of us, there were 17 of us. More the merrier right?! This trip still would've been fun if it was just my immediate family, but having extended family tag along, made this trip that much better.      To start off, we spent two days in Disneyland, that also included California Adventure. This was possible because we had a two-day park hopper, which allowed to go back and forth between Disneyland and California Adventure. Saving ⮚ Blog 13

     Money is a big issue when it comes to traveling. Most people don’t travel because they don’t have the money. Yet, here is a high school senior whose been to 34/50 states, Boston MA 2x, India and soon to be Ukraine. Three of these trips I pay in full by myself with little to no fundraising.       One of the reasons is my job. I have a well-paying and flexible job that allows me to get an education and travel, whether I travel with family, or strangers that later become friends. A job brings in money, which I can put aside and save, but it helps to know what you’re saving for. When you know what you’re saving for, you know how much it’ll cost you, which then allows you to set a plan. Back in 2019, when I went to India on a humanitarian trip for two weeks, I also had the opportunity to fly back to Boston again for a week for my sister and cousin.
