Back again?! It's good to see you! If there is anything that you want to see, or have ideas on how to grow the account reach out I'd love to get your ideas! Blog #8 will be longer but full of great information, so hold on tight to your seat.     I spent three days in California. Day one, started with the Redwood Forest. If you plan on driving through the Hyperion Tree (the 7th largest tree in Redwood National Park), keep in mind, it will be easier if you have a small car that isn't too wide or tall. My family paid to drive our expedition through the tree, but there was the chance that we could've got stuck, so we brought in our side mirrors, and drove very slow. Defiantly a memorable experience, you just have to be caution when driving through. If you don't drive through the tree, you can stand right underneath it, and look straight up into the sky. That view is breathtaking. Redwood National Park is located in Northernmost California, about 325 miles (about 6

For those of you who are new, welcome! There was no new blog post last week because I was working on changing the name of this blog and the conjoining Instagram account. Since I will no longer be in high school after this spring, and I was in the process of designing t-shirts, and I thought that now would be a good time. So instead of @high._.school._.traveler the new name is @adventures.with.liberty. Thank you for those of you who voted on Instagram, you helped me out! Now on to blog #7!     Unlike the Washington post, this will be shorter. I loved Oregon more than Seattle, even if there wasn't quite as much to do. Just to give you an overview of this post, I'll talk about the aquarium, Main Street, and the hotel that I will stay at next time I make a trip out that way!     Who doesn't love the aquarium?! The Oregon Coast Aquarium is located in Newport. This was definitely one of the most fun activities I did. Obviously the prices can be high, but I can't tell you

Washington State

Blog #6 woohoo!! In case you haven't read the introduction post, I have been to 37/50 US States. I will start with the West Coast and make our way to the East Coast minus Alaska and Hawaii. The things to do, where to eat, show some pictures and just talk about my experience while in that state. Todays post is all about Washington State!     One of the things that you should definitely add to your list of adventures is Bainbridge Island. In order to access Bainbridge, you need to take a 45 minute or so ferry ride. It will cost about $7.70 for an adult passenger, but keep in mind, I was there September of 2013, so the prices and whatnot could have changed. While on this cute island, I suggest you visit Doc's Marina Grill  for either lunch or dinner. My family went there for dinner and a  rememberable   experience. The people there are friendly, the restaurant is right on the harbor, I am unsure if they still do this now, but back in 2013 they provided blankets for those sit
